Release summary: Seller and payment-loss responsibility; annual liability caps and conditional Australian Consumer Law remedies; contracting identity; eligible payment channels; closure and credit deadlines; material provider changes.
This schedule summarizes launch defaults. The authenticated offer, organization-specific arrangement and confirmed provider purchase determine actual charges. It forms part of the business terms only when included in an accepted release.
| Item | Launch default including GST where applicable |
|---|---|
| First included owned workspace | A$0 monthly base; three total seats including owner |
| Additional owned workspace | A$30 per month; three seats in that workspace |
| Eligible platform usage | 2% of the full retained eligible shopper payment after discounts, including customer GST/taxes; includes supported hosted-storefront and Staff Mobile online/card-reader/Tap to Pay/cash receipts under business terms section 5.6; the platform charge itself includes GST where applicable |
| Optional website access | A$25 per month per workspace |
| Additional seat | A$20 per month per additional seat |
The amounts above are the intended total platform prices, including GST where applicable. Do not add GST on top of A$30, A$25, A$20 or the 2% platform usage charge. The purchase review identifies any included tax and total. Paddle's tax on its resale, the operator's GST registration and each organizer's GST status are separate matters; no GST component is claimed where GST does not apply.
Calculation examples
For an illustrative A$110 eligible shopper payment comprising A$100 sale value and A$10 customer GST, the total platform usage fee is A$2.20, including any applicable GST on the platform fee. If Paddle applies 10% GST to that A$2.20 charge, it comprises A$2.00 before platform GST and A$0.20 platform GST. The customer GST on the event purchase and GST on the platform purchase are different taxes on different supplies. Stripe costs do not reduce the A$110 usage base. If a discount reduces the full eligible shopper payment to A$88, the total platform charge is A$1.76, subject to currency/provider rounding. If customer GST does not apply, use the full eligible amount actually paid rather than inventing a GST component.
